Protekto Organik iPad 2 Easel Case is the first foray in to iPad 2 cases by LuxMobile. It is a largely traditional leather-shelled folio, featuring a rather straightforward design with two nice leather-covered halves, the device snaps into a rear shell with strategically placed border pieces that leave quite a bit of open space around the outer edge; the matching front flap covers the screen when it's not in use. Like many other folios, Protekto can be doubled back to stand the iPad 2 up in a landscape orientation, although it appears that you need to pop half of the back frame off whenever you want to use the stand feature.

It's smart for a number of reasons, but the best thing aboutit is a unique folding mechanism that allows you to utilize FOUR different angles in the blink of an eye. Great for typing, watching movies and comes in handy on flights when the guy in front of you keeps reclining his seat. Unlike most cases, it is rock solid and will not tip over.
Organik is stretched in polyurethane (the same stuff astronaut suits are made from) and has a nice buttery smoothness to them. The inside is a micro-suede interior that helps clean your screen every time you open and close the cover.
